Greetings! Apologize for the hiatus.
This week in class, students can expect to be involved in content with Westward Expansion and the reasons for doing so.
Students will observe Brainpop clips as snapshots which illustrate various details of territories gained including:
The Louisiana Purchase
California
The Oregon Territory
Florida
Texas
Parents, if you wish to look at some of these with your child on brainpop.com feel free to do so using our log in and password!

Each of the videos has great games and other quizzes to partake in.
Additionally, students can expect to have 2 review assignments on the Reasons for Westward expansion on Wednesday 2/24/16 and Friday 2/26/16.
